Our Beliefs
Statement of Faith
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired and
only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three
persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the
Holy Ghost.
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin
birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious
and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His
ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His
personal future return to the earth.
4. We believe in the creation by God, in the fall of man and
original sin, and that man is spirit, soul, and
body.
5. We believe that the only means of being forgiven and cleansed
from sin is through repentance and faith in the
precious blood of Jesus Christ and that regeneration
by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for
personal salvation.
6. We believe in the ordinances of the church which are water
baptism by immersion and communion, the Lord's
Supper.
7. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit for believers who
ask for it. We also believe in
the operation of the gifts of the Spirit.
8. We believe in life after death, in heaven and hell.
9. We believe in the Blessed hope, which is the second coming of
Christ and in the resurrection of both
the saved and the lost.
